The last three days have been incredible weather wise.

Not too hot. Next to no humidity and a very nice cool breeze about 22km/h

I think I’m going to take the dogs for a walk being as I rarely do and that’s not a great thing. I should walk then every single day it’s just hard to do with life being so busy and being depressed half the time

I’ve been fairly productive today thus far though. Laundry is on. I swept up the bedroom and will get the rest of the house done. Jump in the shower, make some breakfast and then head out for a walk with the doggies

I have a few hours worth of work I want to get done before work tomorrow. Today is a civic holiday in Onatrio so I have the day off but I do like to try to be proactive when I feel up to it

I think my mom want’s me to go to a BBQ at her place tonight but I’m not sure if Ill be going.

Well after buying the correct socket to get the guide pins out of the calipers I spent 3+ hours today getting the front brake pads changed on the shitless Jetta.

The job should take 30 mins - 1 hour TOPS however, as always wehn dealing with old cars things are not always that simple.

I got the new socket and was able to use it on the top guide pins on each caliper but of course the one I was having trouble with yesterday on the pasenger side of the car is the lower pin and the new socket didnt even help with it.

I ended up figure out a way to get the pin out and that was great I was extatic so then I go to work on the driver side lower guide pin and of course my solution for the pasenger side wouldn’t work on the driver side.

None the less after some fucking around and like I said about 3+ hours of work I got everything replaced and the brakes are once again perfect

It will be so nice once all debt has been paid off so that I can go buy a new car and not have to worry about this type of shit.

I will say though regardless of all the troubles I still rpefer to do the work on my car myself rather than paying some bastard WAY too much to do the job at a garage!

So I’ve been driving a VW Jetta for the last couple months or so ever since the frame broke in half in the rear of the Honda I loved so much.

I love Honda and have to admit I pretty much HATE VW.

Anyway I jacked up the car put it on stands got the front wheels off to be able to change the front brake pads. One of the pasenger side brake pads is worn right out basically it’s metal on metal so everytime I drive the car the rotor ends up being a little more scored.

I hate the POS car so I really don’t like to put money into it which is why I’m changing the brake pads and not the rotors.

None the less I get everything ready and then OF COURSE out of 12 or so sockets that I have to be used to get the pins out of the brake calipers in order to replace the pads the ONE socket I need is missing.

All of that for nothing. What a waste of time and energy. So I guess I’m off to crappy tire in the morning to get the socket I need to try this whole process again tomorrow.

Life sucks I guess I better get used to it.

Well I went up to my brothers house tonight. He lives in the country I find it so peaceful and stress free when I’m there.

Just look at the kind of incredible sunsets he and his wife get to see each and every night.

I brought the laptop and the projector  After dinner we projected a movie on to the side of his house and sat on his deck to watch it! 

The screen was at least 6 feet by 8 or 9 feet The fresh air was amazing There is only one thing that could have made the night better…

So today is my buddy Randy’s Bday

I love my new Cell Phone I have entered a bunch of people’s birthdays and man this thing rocks

Randy always remembers to call me on my bday and hasnt missed a year in over ten

I think he aprpeciated the call wishing him a happy one Looks like it’s possible that tonight we will hit a patio with a roof over it somewhere to enjoy a couple drinks (Pepsi for me please ) and good company

I have to say man… REAL TRUE friends are hard to come by usually you can count them on your fingers. Randy has my back regardless of the situation and I do admit I have his!

I’ve needed to relax and take it easy to unwind from the strees of filling in for my Director at work and all the personal stress thats been going on for the last couple months.

Should be nice to sit back and shoot the shit and forget about life’s everyday stress for a little while.
